The Centre for Schema Therapy Australia is an Adelaide based private psychology practice specialising in the treatment and management of complex and longstanding issues that have not improved with short-term treatments. Our psychologists are leaders in the provision of schema therapy in South Australia.
Our clinical psychologists have undergone over six years of university studies, graduating with first class honours and completing postgraduate degrees in clinical psychology leading to registration as psychologists. Additionally, our psychologists have undergone further specialised training leading to endorsement in clinical psychology followed by international certification in schema therapy.
We provide private psychological services to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of presenting issues, including anxiety, depression, personality disorders, complex trauma, relationship issues, and parenting struggles. Our clinical psychologists have extensive experience providing intensive family-based and attachment focused intervention for families with a child or young person experiencing emotional and behavioural issues.
The Centre for Schema Therapy values (neuro)diversity and has psychologists who specialise in working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Conditions and their families. We offer strengths-based therapeutic approaches for individuals on the autism spectrum experiencing anxiety, depression, and/or other mental health conditions and aim to increase well-being and quality of life while appreciating each individual's uniqueness.
